CHORAL COMPOSITION COMPETITION
Composers of all ages, nationalities, education levels, races, genders,
and backgrounds are encouraged to apply!

$2,500 PRIZE

COMPOSITION GUIDELINES:

SATB (optional divisi)
Piano accompaniment required
4-7 minutes in length

IMPORTANT DATES:

APRIL 1: Submission portal opens
AUGUST 1: Intent to submit form deadline
SEPTEMBER 1: Full score &
final materials deadline
NOVEMBER 1: Winner notification

Atlanta Master Chorale's Choral Composition Competition was created to promote new choral music and to invite aspiring composers to create new choral repertoire. We are seeking compositions which reflect our vision, “Where music touches spirit.”

The competition will be adjudication by a specially convened panel.

Compositions should be newly composed for the competition and not previously performed or published.

Step 2:
Complete the "intent to submit" form (due no later than August 1):



After your form is submitted, you'll receive a link to your submission folder and full instructions

Step 3:
Review the submission checklist and start uploading your items:

Step 4:
Notify info@atlantamasterchorale.org when your submission is complete and final (no later than September 1)

After your final submission, you'll receive an official acceptance or a request for adjustments

Winner will be notified November 1, 2024
