ERIC NELSON ARTISTIC FUND

The Eric Nelson Artistic Fund (ENAF) was established in 2019 to honor Eric Nelson's incredible talents and twenty-year leadership as Artistic Director of Atlanta Master Chorale.

 

FUND PURPOSE

The ENAF will serve as financial support benefiting the Chorale membership. They are the "sound" Eric has skillfully molded into what has become our brand.

The fund's primary uses will be for the following:

1. Cover commissioning fees and expenses associated with bringing commissioned composers to Atlanta to work with the Chorale, allowing AMC to premier, record, and publish these works and showcase our professional choral sound globally. 

2. Underwrite AMC members' expenses to travel with the ensemble for guest appearances at conferences and conventions, with hoped expansion to tours in other countries.

3. Defray expenses to hire high-caliber guest artists to perform and/or record with Atlanta Master Chorale as needed.

The AMC Board believes that these three primary areas will benefit each member of the Chorale, enhance their overall choral experience, and support Eric's deep passion for choral music, resulting in greater exposure to one of the truly great choirs in the United States.
